Men's Golf Places Third at Vincennes Invite

park2VINCENNES, IND. – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's golf team placed third at the Vincennes University Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

Sophomore Sanders Park (Alpharetta, Ga./Milton) led the Engineer scoring with a round of 78 on Saturday and a 73 on Sunday.  Freshman Tapat Wittayakom (Chaing Mai, Thailand/Prem Tinsulanonda International) came home second among Rose-Hulman players with two rounds of 77.

Sophomore Kent Kraus (Greenwood/Center Grove) added scores of 76 on Saturday and 81 on Sunday.  Sophomore Chris Lambert (Chesterfield, Mo./Chaminade Prep) pitched in consistent scores of 80 and 81, and freshman Sam Pastoriza (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) compiled rounds of 86 and 78.

The Fightin' Engineers return to action at the Franklin Invitational on Sept. 22-23.
