Career: Marcus made his mark in his first year
as a starting cornerback last fall and will vie for time at the
wide receiver position in 2012.
2011: Started all 10 games with 54 tackles,
including 37 solo efforts, to earn his
first varsity letter...tallied a
career-high 10 tackles in the season opener against
DePauw...pitched in with nine tackles, one tackle-for-loss and five
solo hits against Anderson...snagged his first college interception
at Bluffton...recorded seven tackles and one pass breakup at
Manchester...added five solo stops in home games against Franklin
and Mount St. Joseph.
2010: Provided depth to the special teams and
secondary...recorded his first varsity tackle at
Defiance...appeared in four varsity games.
At Rose-Hulman: Member of the Phi Gamma Delta
fraternity... member of the National Society of Black Engineers and
the HCAC championship track and field team in 2012.
Prep Career: All-district player for a 2009
district title football squad...four-sport athlete in baseball,
track, football, basketball.
Personal: Mechanical engineering major.
