Career: Grant made an immediate impact on
the Engineer defensive lineup as a freshman to earn league wide
recognition.
2011: Earned honorable mention all-league honors
as a freshman...led newcomers with 50 tackles, including 33 solo
efforts...recorded 5.5 tackles-for-loss with two fumble recoveries
and one rorced fumble...added one hurry, one pass breakup and one
blocked kick...had a career-high 11 tackles with six solo stops,
2.5 tackles-for-loss and one fumble recovery
against Earlham...added seven tackles, one tackle-for-loss and one
fumble recovery vs. Mount St. Joseph...blocked a punt that led
directly to a touchdown in the Homecoming win over Hanover.
Prep Career: Earned eight varsity letters in
football, basketball and track...all-conference, all-area and
two-year captain in football...team captain for a two-time
conference championship basketball
team...Illinois State Scholar...Academic honoree.
