PUEBLA, MEXICO - Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior
linebacker Matt Green (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle)
and head coach Jeff Sokol represented the United
States in the third annual Tazón de Estrellas (Bowl of the Stars)
on Saturday in Mexico.
The Team Mexico CONADEIP All Stars captured a 45-27 victory over
the Team Stars and Stripes squad consisting of 53 players from 29
programs within NCAA Division III.
Green competed in the game as a receiver, linebacker, special
teams player and also served as a reserve kicker.
On the day, Green hauled in one pass reception for 18 yards and
recorded three tackles, including one tackle-for-loss.
Sokol served as the wide receivers coach for a squad that
scored four touchdowns on the day. The two teams squared
off at the 5,000-seat El Tempo del Dolor (The Temple of Pain) in
