TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
football team has arrived in the Czech Republic as part of the
team's trip to Europe.
The team departed on May 30 and return home on June 7.
Destinations include Prague in the Czech Repubic and Vienna in

Rose-Hulman will tour sites such as the Hradcany Quarter, St.
Vitus Cathedral and the River Vltava in the Old Town Castle
District of Prague. Other destinations include the
Astronomical Clock, the 18th century Church of St. Nicholas and the
The team will then travel to Austria and compete in the Game Day
Charity Bowl against the Austrian National Football Team on June
5. The event will be broadcast nationwide on Austrian
television and is expected to attract a crowd of several thousand
for the game. The event include cheerleaders, marching bands,
fireworks and a parade.
The Vienna portion of the trip will include Schobrunn Palace and
a sightseeing tour of the major sites within the city, prior to a
return on June 7.
Rose-Hulman will make its third football trip to Europe.
The team traveled to London and Paris in 2002, then traveled to
Rome, Florence and Venice in Italy in the summer of 2007.
