CRAIG VOGES FUMBLE RECOVERY FOR A TOUCHDOWN VIDEO
TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Craig Voges' fumble recovery for a pivotal touchdown in the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team's victory over Manchester garnered 75 percent of the votes to capture the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Play of the Week honor for Week 4.
Voges (Huntingburg, Ind./Forest Park), a senior linebacker for the Engineers, pounced on a Manchester fumble off a punt return in the endzone late in the second quarter of Saturday's 44-30 win on the road. The score gave Rose-Hulman a 20-13 lead and proved crucial down the stretch.
The final voting tally, which took place on the HCAC's Facebook and Twitter pages, saw Voges garnering 75 percent of the vote, beating out Mount St. Joseph's David Fulcher who garnered 20 percent.
The honor marked the first time this season that Rose-Hulman has earned HCAC Football Play of the Week honors.
