vogesFRANKLIN, IND. -- Franklin College showcased its No. 23 national ranking from d3football.com in a 56-0 victory over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference football action on Saturday.

Jonny West finished 22-30 for 352 yards and three touchdowns, with Cody Hess rushing for 125 yards and two scores to lead the Grizzlies effort.  Kyle Linville added six catches for 164 yards and one touchdown.

Senior Mitch Snyder (Casey, Ill./Casey-Westfield) finished 16-29 through the air for 133 yards to pace Rose-Hulman's offense.  Freshman Aaron Abbott (Lebanon, Ohio) had nine catches for 61 yards, and freshman Jacob Dye (Tipton) hauled in seven receptions for 62 yards to lead the receiving corps.

Three defensive players reached double digits in tackles for Rose-Hulman.  Sophomore Grant DePalma (Mount Prospect, Ill./Prospect) joined junior Craig Voges (Huntingburg/Southridge) with 11 stops each.  Voges also grabbed one interception.

Freshman Joseph Woodley (Shreveport, La./Louisiana College Prep) pitched in with a 10-tackle performance.

Franklin improved to 5-2 overall and 5-0 in HCAC games, while Rose-Hulman dropped to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in league play.  The Fightin' Engineers travel to Mount St. Joseph next Saturday.
