Six Named to HCAC Sportsmanship Team

746-sportsmanship11TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Six Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology student-athletes earned spots on the all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Sportsmanship Team for the spring athletic season, in results released today by the league office.

The award has been developed as part of a conference-wide sportsmanship initiative and is selected by league head coaches in participating events for contributions on and off the field.

Men's sports honorees included men's track and field junior Zack Howe (Lawrenceburg/East Central), sophomore golfer Eric Kamer (Greenwood/Center Grove), sophomore tennis player Ben Paras (Tucson, Ariz./Nordhoff) and senior baseball player B.J. Zobrist (Eureka, Ill.).

Women's sports honorees included women's track and field junior Aleks Kampa (Garden Grove, Calif./Orange County Lutheran) and sophomore softball player Alyse Mueller (Belleville, Ill./West).

The sportsmanship award continues throughout the academic year.
