Men's Cross Country Places 6th at Intercollegiates

R LogoBLOOMINGTON, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross country team placed sixth in the Little State competition at the Indiana Intercollegiate Meet held on Friday at Indiana University.

Freshman Stuart West (LaPorte) led the Fightin' Engineers with a 66th place overall finish in a time of 26:50.

Sophomore Andrew Thompson (Mundelein, Ill./Vernon Hills) finished second among Engineers and 78th overall with a time of 27:12.

Senior Micah Aldrich (Indianapolis/Warren Central) added a third-place finish in a time of 27:14.  Freshmen Josh Hojnacki (LaPorte) and Matthew Billingsley (Moline, Ill./Alleman) rounded out the team score with times of 27:15 and 27:25, respectively.

Rose-Hulman returns to action at Earlham College on October 1.
