Men's Cross Country Finishes Third At HCAC Meet

all-hcacANDERSON, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross country team finished in third place at the HCAC Championship.

Senior Micah Aldrich (Indianapolis/Warren Central) placed second in the meet with a time of 26:45.93 and also was named to the all-conference team.   

Freshman Stuart West (LaPorte, Ind.) was also named to the all conference team with a time of 27:07.45.  West was also named the league's Freshman of the Year.

Freshman Josh Hojnacki (LaPorte, Ind.) added a time of 27:41.26 to earn honorable mention all-league accolades.

Freshman Matthew Lash (Batavia, Ill.), in a time of 27:49.31, and senior Josh Elkins (Hometown) with a time of 28:22.01 added to the team score.

Rose-Hulman returns to action by traveling to the NCAA Regional Nov. 12 at Oberlin College.
