VIEW THE ENTIRE TEAM

TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior Alisa Dickerson (Elizabethtown, Ky.) has earned first-team Capital One academic all-district honors, in results released today by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Dickerson was chosen to the first-team NCAA Division III academic all-district seven squad.  She will advance to the Capital One Academic All-America national ballot, with the team release scheduled for February 21. 

On the court, Dickerson has moved into Rose-Hulman's career top five in six major statistical categories.

Dickerson stands fourth in school history in points (1,278), third in rebounds (705), second in assists (304), third in blocks (124) and fourth in steals (134).  She also stands second in school history with 424 free throws.

This season, Dickerson has reached double figures in scoring in every game and has nine games of 20 or more points.

She currently ranks No. 2 in the HCAC in scoring (18.1 ppg) and leads the conference in rebounding (7.9 rpg).

In the classroom, Dickerson maintains a 3.75 grade point average as a mechanical engineering major.  She is also a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta honorary fraternity, the Society of Women Engineers, the residence life staff, and the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship.

Rose-Hulman stands 6-13 overall and 4-8 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this season.  The Fightin' Engineers return to action with a home matchup against Transylvania University on Saturday at 4 p.m.
