Women's Basketball Falls at Marian


INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology fell to Marian University 67-45 in their last game before the holiday break.

Senior Alisa Dickerson (Elizabthtown, Ky.) led the Rose-Hulman offense with 22 points, including 12-13 from the free throw line.  She also grabbed five rebounds and had three blocks and moved into fifth place on Rose-Hulman's career scoring list with 1,087 caerer points.

Sophomore Kelsey Ploof (Noblesville, Ind.) led the team with eight rebounds and added nine points  with three steals while sophomore Heather Finnell (Decatur, Tenn./Cleveland) added six points.

Marian featured six players with atleast seven points led by Adrianne Sahm's ten points.   

Rose-Hulman stands 2-7 overall as they enter the break with Marian improving to 10-2 on the year.  The Engineers return to action Thursday, December 29 as they face Wittenburg University at the Wittenburg holiday tournament.
