TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology alumni and former Fightin’ Engineers basketball standout Tim Cindric has been issued an important honor by the NCAA, as announced Wednesday.
Cindric, a 1990 RHIT graduate in mechanical engineering and current president of Team Penske, was honored as one of the NCAA Division III “40 in 40” – 40 influential alumni over the 40 years of NCAA Division III athletics.
A member of the 1,000 point club and an honorable mention All-American selection while at Rose-Hulman, Cindric was inducted into RHIT’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001.
