Career: Karson earned conference wide honors for his efforts on the mound in his first year of college baseball.
2013: Finished 4-3 with a 3.26 earned run average to earn second-team all-HCAC recognition...also named team Newcomer of the Year...struck out 37 in 58 innings of work...tossed a nine-inning, three-hitter against Transylvania without allowing an earned run...helped the Engineers defeat No. 9 ranked Manchester by tossing eight innings and allowing just three runs... tossed three scoreless innings vs. Farmingdale State, Mount St. Joseph and Franklin...had a career-high six strikeouts vs. Milwaukee School of Engineering.
At Rose-Hulman: Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
High School: Three-sport academic all-state selection in baseball, basketball and football at Jasper H.S...three varsity letters in baseball with two in basketball and football...all-conference pitcher for a baseball sectional title team in 2012 and a state finalist team in 2010...all-conference and all-southwest team in football.
