*Set Rose Poly, Shook Fieldhouse and Prairie Conference records in pole vault and high jump
Won every high jump dual meet in his track career, except for his first meet as a freshman
* Named "Best Man" on the 1953 Rose Relays squad that earned the school;s first Relays win
* First in the pole vault and high jump, and fifth in the long jump at the 1952 16-team Rose Relays
* Averaged team-high 13.8 points per game for the 1952-53 basketball team, which at 15-4 set a school record for winning percentage until 1977
* Scored 629 career points and helped lead the team to a 31-21 record from 1950-53
