Please attend our weekly club meeting, Thursday at 8 PM in the Lynn Reeder Lab. If it's clear, we'll observe. During the winter quarter, the time and place of the meeting may change.

2009 is the International Year of Astronomy. We are planning several activities to commemorate this event.

October 9 2009 8:30 PM - Observatory open house, open to all Rose students and the public

October 10-18 - annual Twin Lakes Star Party

March 2010, date and time TBA - Messier Marathon, open to all Rose students

Contellation night: Learn to find various constellations as well as the mythology behind them.

Dark skies night: Come out to Turkey Run State Park with us for a night of observing darker skies with our travel telescopes.
