Faculty honorary alumnus award winner 2007 is Dr. Patsy Brackin. 

One of Rose-Hulman’s more popular faculty members, Patsy is an associate professor of mechanical engineering. She has been on faculty since 1995, and her academic specialty areas include design methodology, creativity and innovation, and Six Sigma. One of her more popular courses is one in creative design. She also has served the Institute as director of Operation Catapult, faculty athletic representative, and chair of the Honors and Awards Committee. She is an avid Fightin’ Engineer baseball fan and a long-time supporter of the Terre Haute North Vigo High School Swim Club.
 

Our staff honoree is librarian and archivist John Robson.

In his 24th year of service to Rose-Hulman John Robson has been a vibrant part of the life of the college. In his role as head librarian, he assists students in their quests for knowledge, and as archivist, he helps preserve and share the strong heritage of Rose Poly/Rose-Hulman. He is active in various state and national professional associations. When something needs to be done on campus, John is one of the “go-to” people. He has served on various committees, including the current Board of Trustees Task Force on Diversity. He also co-teaches a business etiquette workshop, serves as College Bowl Advisor, leads as a College and Life Skills mentor, and proofreads all master theses.
