You know what they say about
all work and no play…
Good thing that's not a problem at Rose-Hulman. When you work as
hard as our students do in the classroom - you need a place to let
off some steam. Don't worry, we've got you covered.
Intramural
Athletics
Over 65% of the Rose-Hulman student body participates in our huge
intramural program. Some of them just for fun, some for the
exercise and others for the competitive thrill. Flag football,
indoor soccer, dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee…
we play 'em all. Even the faculty gets involved with their own team
in some sports.
Special
Events
The Student Activities Office plans events and activities on
campus and assists student clubs and campus organizations with
their programming. There are numerous activities to choose from.
Some popular events include Halllympics, Campus Beautification Day,
and Paws on the Patio. In addition, the Student Activities Board
(SAB) schedules a variety of comedians, bands, hypnotists, and the
annual Spring Carnival.
The Greek community at Rose-Hulman thrives with 11 active Greek
organizations - many of which have been honored regionally and
nationally as outstanding chapters.
Looking for something a little less organized?
Look no further than your Student Union. The Grace and
Anton Hulman Memorial Union is a hub of activity on campus. The
facility is the home to the dining hall, a variety of meeting
rooms, lounge space and Chauncey's game room. Ping pong, foosball,
pool tables - even a DVD rental library - it's a popular hangout
for students who need a break from classes and studying.
In the mood to get off campus?
There's plenty to choose from right here in Terre Haute or just a
short
drive away.
