Jennifer Mueller Price

Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering

Dr. Jennifer Mueller Price is an expert in ecological engineering and environmental issues within engineering. A registered professional engineer, she has been a consultant for the Environmental Protection Agency on such projects as lead-contaminated soil removal, spill prevention and control, and environmental site assessments. Dr. Mueller Price is the director of Rose-Hulman’s HERE living-learning program (Home for Environmentally Responsible Engineering), and her commitment to sustainability extends beyond the classroom—she and her family live in an energy-efficient geodesic dome house. She also advises the Concrete Canoe Club and is a tap dancer.

Teaching Interests

  • Hydraulics and water resources engineering
  • Sustainable design
  • Surface water quality and nonpoint source pollution
  • Environmental river mechanics
  • Ecological engineering
