Dr. J. P. Mellor is an expert in computer vision, human-computer interaction, and enhanced-reality visualization. Dr. Mellor has previously worked for the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit, the MIT Artificial Intelligence Lab, Great Eastern Technology, and Zoesis. He also helped develop a robotic arm exhibit for the Terre Haute Children’s Museum. Dr. Mellor advises the campus Linux Users’ Group, also plays bagpipes, and is an avid amateur pilot.
