Delvin Defoe

Associate Professor

Dr. Delvin Defoe specializes in computer science education and memory management. Through his research with students, he has investigated ways to use mobile game development to improve student learning in computer science courses. A native of Dominica, Dr. Defoe recently completed a 13-month private-industry sabbatical with Software Engineering Professionals, which helped him implement new course material based on industry trends. He also has encouraged youths toward STEM careers through his association with the institute’s Operation Catapult and Explore Engineering programs.
