Continued Excellence in Professional Learning

As you know, the State of Indiana requires all Professional Engineers (PEs) to take 30 hours of continuing education, including one hour each of ethics and Indiana statutes and rules each biennium. It's then up to the individual PEs or their employers to determine which courses to take to fulfill the remaining requirements. So the question is this: is there a difference from course to course?

Courses available in the format that works best for you

Rose-Hulman's flexible continuing education offerings address the needs of the working professional engineer.  We offer the two-hour Professional Engineering Ethics course, required for certification, which covers ethics and Indiana statutes and rules. These courses are taught at key locations around Indiana, including several convenient Indianapolis locations.  And, to meet the needs of larger groups, we can customize longer-format courses and even bring our courses to your work place.

For engineers fulfilling recertification requirements or pursuing professional development, Rose-Hulman offers a comprehensive list of topics from many of our top-rated and ABET-accredited programs.  Choose topics from applied biology and biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science and software engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics and optical engineering.  Or, choose from our non-technical courses centering on leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
