Stephen Ferry - Speaking on Violentology

For the past twenty years photographer Stephen Ferry has been documenting daily life in Latin America. His most recent book, Violentology, published this spring by Umbrage Editions, deals with the decades-long armed conflict in Colombia, where he is currently based. Recently named winner of the prestigious Tim Hetherington Grant from World Press Photo and Human Rights Watch, Ferry is a frequent contributor to National Geographic, Geo, Time, Newsweek, Life, The New Yorker, and US News and World Report. He has been a recent lecturer at Harvard University and Brown University, has taught documentary practice at the International Center of Photography in New York, and has received grants and fellowships from National Geographic, Getty Images and the Magnum Foundation.

RHIT Recent Art Exhibits     

Nearly 100 artworks by 22 artists from the Wabash Valley Art Guild were featured in a spring exhibition that filled two hallways of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology's Moench Hall.  An opening reception, with several of the local artists, took place on Thursday, March 8, from 4:30-7 p.m. at the college's oldest classroom building
