Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology – Tenure-Track and Visiting Faculty Positions in Computer Science and Software Engineering for 2014-2015

The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology invites applications for tenure-track and visiting faculty positions for 2014-2015. The department offers B.S. degrees in software engineering and computer science, as well as an M.S. in software engineering. Both undergraduate programs are ABET accredited and the graduate program is based on the new Graduate Software Engineering Reference Curriculum. Enrollment in the department has grown by 75% over the past five years. As a result, we continue to expand our faculty.

We are looking for outstanding candidates from all areas of software engineering and computer science, including those with industry experience. For tenure track positions an earned Ph.D. or near completion in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field is required. For visiting positions an earned M.S. in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent industry experience, is required. Essential job functions include classroom teaching and student advising, curriculum development and continuous improvement, and service and committee work.
