Military Ball Cadets plan and conduct an annual Military Ball, and learn Army customs and traditions in the process. This is also another chance to practice detailed mission planning, and stresses the importance of rehearsals.

Spring Awards At the end of the spring semester, cadets are formally awarded for all of their accomplishments from throughout the year.

Bold Warrior Challenge The Bold Warrior Challenge is an opportunity for schools to compete with each other completing military tasks. In addition to a written examination where Cadets test their Army knowledge, there are physical fitness drills and field exercises. Battalions leave the Bold Warrior Challenge with stronger bonds and sharper skills.

Color Guard The Color Guard proudly serves the unit, participating universities, and the community at many different events. The Wabash Battalion Color Guard is present at all Rose-Hulman home football games.

Commissioning Ceremony The end of each Fall and Spring Semester bring Commissioning Ceremonies, where graduates formally receive their commission as an officer in the Army. These are well attended by the faculty and staff, as well as the friends and family that have supported the cadet's along their chosen path to service as a commissioned officer.

Field Training Exercises Field Training Exercises give students an opportunity to explore and utilize the skills they have accumulated from class and lab exercises, as well as fostering an environment to socially and intellectually interact with peers from other institutions.

Norwegian Foot March Cadets conduct a 30km ruck march near the University of Southern Indiana for an opportunity to win a foreign military award, the Norwegian Foot-March Skill Insignia, that may be worn on the Army Service Uniform.

German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge An eight competition event testing their physical and military proficiency, the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge competition allows cadets an opportunity to compete for a foreign military award that may be worn on the Army Service Uniform.
