Since its inception, Upsilon Pi Epsilon has served to provide recognition to bright individuals pursuing a career in Computer and Information Sciences. As a nationally recognized honors society, membership in Upsilon Pi Epsilon implies the qualities of good character, hard work, and academic excellence.

In addition, the Rose chapter prides itself in being active in the Rose community. In the past, UPE has arranged several keynote speakers to give presentations on important concepts and upcoming technologies in the realm of computing. Also, many of our members have provided academic assistance to students. UPE will continue being a contributing member of the Rose community, recognizing outstanding students and using their talents to give back to the community.
