Recruitment



Recruitment is an exciting time of year. Recruitment gives you a chance to get to know a little bit about each sorority at Rose-Hulman, meet some of the actives, and to make new friends as well. Even if you do not plan on joining a sorority, it is still good to go through recruitment because it is a great time to meet new people.

Recruitment is a time when the sororities will entertain you over the course of four parties. The first three parties will introduce you to actives members of Alpha Omicron Pi, Delta Delta Delta, and Chi Omega and you will learn about their histories, tradition, philanthropies, and social aspects. The last party, known as Preference Party, is a more serious time where the actives will tell you what being Greek means to them. This is an important day because it is your last chance to look around and see who you might pick to become your sisters.

And don't worry, if your best friend or roommate decides to join a different sorority, friendships don't just exist within your own sorority. You will meet some of your best friends in and outside of your sorority.
