Army ROTC Scholarships   Whether you’re a college-bound high school student or already attending a college or university, Army ROTC has scholarships available. Scholarships are awarded based on a student’s merit and grades, not financial need. Army ROTC scholarships are valuable in many ways: Two-, three-, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree Scholarship amounts vary. Note: Rose-Hulman scholarships awardees receive FULL TUITION and FREE ROOM AND BOARD. Additional allowances pay for books and fees Living Expenses   Army ROTC scholarships also provide monthly living allowances for each school year. You can earn certain amounts depending on your level in the Army ROTC curriculum: 1st year$300 per month 2nd year$350 per month 3rd year$450 per month 4th year$500 per month This allowance is also available to all non-scholarship Cadets enrolled in the Army ROTC Advanced Course (3rd and 4th year). » BACK TO TOP

If you are planning on attending a four-year college and are interested in receiving a tuition scholarship along with some of the best leadership training available, Army ROTC may be right for you. Four-Year National Scholarship   The high school Four-Year Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program. Contact your high school academic advisor or Campus Military Science department for more information. Campus-based Scholarships   The Rose-Hulman Army ROTC Department offers full tuition, free room and board on two, three and four year scholarships. These scholarships also include $900 a year for books and supplies and a tiered monthly tax free stipend for living expenses. » BACK TO TOP

The Army ROTC Green to Gold Scholarship Program provides selected enlisted Soldiers on Active Duty an opportunity to complete their baccalaureate degree and obtain a commission through participating in ROTC. Green to Gold   This program is available for individuals currently on active duty. This is an excellent opportunity for soldiers to transition from being enlisted (green) to officer status (gold). Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP)   Are you a member of the National Guard or the Army Reserve and desire the opportunity to earn a commission in the Active or Reserve Forces? If so, the SMP Program is for you. This three-year program is for actively drilling reservists who desire to serve as officers. You can enter into a SMP Contract at the beginning of your Sophomore year. Some of the benefits include: Continue to receive your GI Bill and Educational Kicker from your unit Continue to receive Tuition Waiver/Tuition Reimbursement from you unit Serve in your unit as a SMP Cadet at the Grade of E-5 Receive $450-$500 per month from ROTC as a contracted SMP Cadet You may be eligible for a $350 kicker from your unit Compete for slots to attend Army schools such as Airborne School, Air Assault School, or Northern Warfare School. » BACK TO TOP

Army Nurse Corp Scholarship   If nursing is your professional goal, there is no better place to begin your career than Army ROTC. Army ROTC offers you a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while you receive financial assistance for college. Nursing majors compete for 2-, 3-, or 4-year scholarships. ROTC enhances your undergraduate nursing education or graduate nursing education by providing the unique leadership and management training, along with the practical experience needed for success, either in the Army or in a civilian career. You will develop your professional skills while you learn some meaningful things about yourself and what you can accomplish. You will also develop leadership skills, self-confidence, flexibility, and adaptability while having fun. As a ROTC nurse cadet, you will be able to combine college electives in military science and invaluable nurse summer training experience with your nursing program. After obtaining your baccalaureate degree and meeting the prerequisites, you will receive a commission as an Army Nurse Corps (ANC) officer. Once you have identified your assignment choices, you will be ready to take on the challenges of your profession in one of the Army hospitals in the U.S., Germany, or Korea. As an officer, you'll have the opportunity to lead, advance professionally, obtain specialized training, work with the latest medical technology, and serve with other highly trained medical personnel as an important member of the health care team. Non-Scholarship Students   You are not required to have a scholarship to be in ROTC. Those who do not receive scholarships may still enroll in ROTC, complete college and embark on an Army career as an officer in the Reserve, National Guard or Active Duty. Non-scholarship cadets are eligible to receive a monthly stipend of $450-500 upon contracting with Army ROTC their junior year. Additionally, non-scholarship students are eligible to compete for Army schools such as Airborne School, Air Assault School and Northern Warfare School.
