Updating the Minitab License

Licensed for: Specific Faculty, Staff, and Students. The list of professors and courses licensed for Minitab changes quarterly. Minitab is licensed annually and expires each year on June 30; it must be updated with a new license file to continue functioning beyond this date.
Installable as: Localmgr (Click here for login instructions)

Update Instructions

• Login as Localmgr. (Instructions Here)
• Click Start->Run and type \\rose-hulman.edu\dfs\Software\
• Enter your username and password if prompted
• Double click Course Software -> Minitab -> Minitab R16.1 -> Site ID Code 2005.txt
• Select the text of the file and copy it
• Double click Setup.exe in the current directory
• At the Welcome screen, click Next
• Accept the License Agreement by clicking Yes
• Select the Annual License Update option and click Next
• In the Site ID Code field, paste the text you copied from Site ID Code 2005.txt
• Click Next then click Yes
• Click OK
• Your copy of Minitab is licensed for the 2010-2011 school year now
