Installation Instructions

  • Click Start->Run and type \\rose-hulman.edu\dfs\Software
  • Enter your username and password if prompted
  • Double click Course Software -> Loop Pro -> Install_Loop-Pro_v51.exe
  • Click Next at the InstallShield Welcome screen
  • Click the I accept the terms in the license agreement radio button and click Next
  • Enter the following information
    • User Name: Your name
    • Organization: Rose-hulman Institute of Technology
    • Select the radio button for Anyone who uses this computer
    • Click Next
  • Click Next to accept the default destination location
  • Click Install
  • The program will begin installing
  • Select the Launch Loop-Pro Product Suite checkbox and then Click Finish to complete the installation.
  • An error dialog will be displayed stating that the license file could not be accessed and asking you to specify a location for the license file. Click Yes.
    • If you are in Section 1 of Professor Artigue's class you should enter \\rose-hulman.edu\dfs\Software\Course Software\Loop Pro Shared\LOOP-PRO.lf in the File name: text box and click Open.
    • If you are in Section 2 of Professor Artigue's class you should enter \\rose-hulman.edu\dfs\Software\Course Software\Loop Pro Section 2\LOOP-PRO.lf in the File name: text box and click Open.
    • If you aren't in either of Professor Artigue's class you should enter \\rose-hulman.edu\dfs\Software\Course Software\Loop Pro Shared\LOOP-PRO.lf in the File name: text box and click Open.
  • Loop-Pro Trainer will start. You should see blue text under the version number stating the software is For Academic Institution Use Only.
  • A shortcut to the program appears in the Start -> All Programs -> Control Station -> Loop-Pro Product Suite -> Launch Loop-Pro. There is a Launch Loop-Pro icon on the destop as well.
