The following steps indicate how to install Maple 12 on a personal Mac at Rose-Hulman. If you are installing a different version of Maple, this may still be useful as a resource for comparison
.- Connect to from your Mac
Enter smb:\\tibia\public\course software\maple 12 and click Connect
Select Public from the list of volumes to mount
Click OK
- Navigate to the most desired Maple folder under \\tibia\public\course software\maple 12 > Linux_MacOSX_Apps(for this example,
Maple 12)
- Open Maple 12 installer, which is in Maple 12 > Maple 12 New, and follow the instructions
- When prompted, select Network License; then click Next
- When prompted, enter rhel-lmgrd.rose-hulman.eduas the license server
