Creating a Dial Up Connection

Using the Connection Wizard

Click on Start -> Control Panel -> Network Connections -> New Connection Wizard
Click Next
Ensure that Connect to the Internet is selected, then click Next
Select Set up my connection manually and click Next
Select Connect using a dial-up modem and click Next
Enter an ISP Name. It can be something like Rose-Hulman Dial Up
Click Next when done
The Phone Number is 877-1004
Click Next when done
Select My use only and click Next
Enter your Rose-Hulman username and password
If you will be primarily dialing up, then select Make this the default Internet connection, otherwise uncheck that option
Uncheck Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection if you are unsure of what to do
Click Next when done
Check the box next to Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop.
Click Finished
