TOPS
Helping people take off pounds sensibly.
It's the weigh-loss program that's not a
diet. Support is the primary function of
this weight-loss support group. The TOPS'
philosophy states that the desire to change
comes from within an individual and the most
effective way to sustain change is to
provide a supporting environment. TOPS
provides peer-based support to help dieters
meet with other individuals facing the same
challenges. TOPS meets on a weekly basis
where participants have the opportunity to
weigh in and receive a motivational program
aimed to assist them in sticking with their
food and fitness plans. The annual fee is
affordable at just $26.
Firm Fit
This class starts with low impact cardio
movements to increase heart rate and
enhance participants cardio-respiratory
endurance. The second half of the
class will consist of toning and
strengthening exercises. Class will meet in
the
SRC Multipurpose Room.
Interval Fit
This session will mix intervals of high and
low intensity cardio, strengthening
and toning exercises. Interval training is
considered to be the best type of
exercise to perform. A great way to increase
endurance and burn more
calories. Class will meet in the SRC
Multipurpose Room.
Yo ga
Looking for some stress relief? Hatha yoga
classes may be just the answer.
Participants will gain flexibility,
strength, balance, coordination, and
agility.
All movements can be modified to meet
participants needs. Class will meet in
the SRC Multipurpose Room.
StrengthFit
Wanting to increase your strength and muscle
tone? This class is strictly
strength training, no cardio here.
Participants will use dumbbells, body
weight,
resistance bands and other strength training
