	... I recalled the quote to the left by Parker Palmer. Parker Palmer is a well-known educational sage who has written a number of influential and moving books on teaching. As I reflected on the award, I realized that any teaching success that I have had cannot be attributed solely to my technique. So I turned to this quote, and I began to think about my identity and integrity and how they affect my teaching.
