Game Play:

Play will consist of two teams of 3 players each on the court at a time.  The game will consist of two 13 min. halves, with a 5 min. break in between halves.  Points will be counted as following:

3 points for shots outside the arc
2 points for shots inside the arc

No free throws will be awarded.  When a foul is committed, as to be determined by the player being fouled, his team will be awarded position of the ball at the half-court mark.

The start of the game will be decided through whatever means the timekeeper chooses.  At the half, the possession of the ball will be switched.  If the game ends in a tie, another 5 min. period will be played until the game ends with a team victorious.

Winners move on and the losers will continue to the loser’s bracket.  This will be a double-elimination game.

If a team fails to show up prior to 5 min. after the scheduled start of the game, it shall be considered a forfeit.  No registration fees will be refunded.

The word of any Habitat representative (timekeeper, ref, etc.) is final.

These are all of the rules specific to the tournament.  The basic rules to basketball do apply.  Just remember to have fun and practice good sportsmanship.
