Who: The Explore Engineering program is open to
6th through 12th graders (or the equivalent if homeschooled)
interested in engineering and science.
When:
Programs
are usually planned for twice a month from mid-September through mid-April
(schedule).
Meetings are scheduled to begin
at 7pm and end between 8:30 and 8:45. There is no attendance requirement.
Students will receive information about upcoming events, and they can
choose to attend the programs that interest them.
Where:
The program is held on the campus of Rose-Hulman
(map and directions). Meetings
start in the presentation room of Myers Hall from which
students are escorted to classrooms and laboratories throughout
campus for that evening's activity. We will return to Myers Hall at the
end of the program. Parents are welcome to remain on
campus. Myers Hall has a lobby area with tables and chairs for parents
to complete work and relax with a good book.
Cost: There is a one time registration
fee of $10 per student. This is the only cost associated with the program.
