The following schools offer scholarships to students who participate
in the American High School Mathematics Exam:
Ball State University $2000
Ball State University
To receive the Edwards Memorial Scholarship students must attend Ball State University starting in the fall of 1999 and major in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or mathematics education. In case of tie scores, the decision of the Mathematics Department at Ball State University is final. To receive the Rosenthal Scholarship students must attend Purdue University starting in the fall of 1999 and major in Mathematics. In case of tie scores, the decision of the Mathematics Department at Purdue University is final. The students must be seniors and attend Rose-Hulman (RHIT) beginning in the fall of 1999. If a students wins more than one RHIT scholarship (i.e. also wins AJHSME or MATHCOUNTS) the total monetary value of all scholarships will be no more than $8000. The decision of the Financial Aid Committee at Rose-Hulman is final. Valparaiso University
