XI. Intramural Awards

A.  A School Winner Pin or Medal is awarded to a student in each school with the highest score.

B.  A Gold, Silver or Bronze Medal is awarded to a student who achieves the highest score in the school of four, three, or two consecutive years, respectively.

C. An Honor Roll of Distinction is awarded to the top scoring one percent of the AHSME students..

D.  A Certificate of Distinction is awarded to all students with a score of 100 or above.

E.  A Certificate of Merit is awarded to schools with a team score of at least 300.
 

State Prizes

A State Trophy and $25 for each team member of the team with the top score.
(The top three scorers from each school form the team.)  ($50 to the school's mathematics department.)

$100 cash prize for the top scorer in the state.
($50 to the school's mathematics department)

$50 for the mathematics dept.
For the school with the greatest percentage improvement will be award.

National Prizes

Some students who score 100 or more will receive a national honor roll pin, Others are eligible for a special achievement pin.  All will be listed as a National Honor Roll Student in the National Summary of Results.  All students in grade ten or lower with scores of 90 or more will be listed as Merit Students in the State Summary of Results.
