WILMINGTON, OHIO -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology women's cross country team recorded two of its top
three performances in school history to place seventh at the
Wilmington Invitational on Friday.
Senior Melissa Rogers (Crawfordsville/Southmont)
ran the second fastest five-kilometer time in school history
with a mark of 19:01 to place fourth of 244 runners.
Freshman Creasy Clauser
(Crawfordsville/Southmont) added the third-best performance
in school history by completing the course in 19:10 to place
10th overall.
Freshman Katie Ross (Connersville)
contributed the 10th best time in school history with a mark of
20:47.
Senior Amanda Lundahl (Lake Forest, Ill.)
pitched in with the second best time of her career by completing
the course in 21:07. Senior Corrie Campbell
(Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) completed the effort with the
13th best time in school history in 21:14.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Oct. 31 hosted
by Mount St. Joseph.
