  Rose-Hulman News Women's Cross Country Places Strong 4th at Otterbein
 

Creasy Clauser placed 12th individually as part of Rose-Hulman's fourth place finish at the Otterbein Invitational.

WESTERVILLE, OHIO -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology recorded a strong fourth place finish of 14 teams at the Otterbein Women's Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.

Senior Melissa Rogers (Crawfordsville/Southmont) finished seventh individually with a time of 23:35 over six kilometers to lead the team effort.

Freshman Creasy Clauser (Crawfordsville/Southmont) pitched in a strong 12th place performance in 24:04.

Other Rose-Hulman runners contributing to the balanced team score included freshman Katie Ross (Connersville) with a 34th place effort in 25:18; senior Corrie Campbell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) with a 54th place in 25:53; and junior Katherine Quigg (Chillicothe, Ill./Valley Central) with a 59th place in 26:06.

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Earlham College Invitational next Saturday.
