Westerville, OHIO. --
Junior Donna Marsh (Mobile, Ala./Baker) recorded four
blocks on her way to breaking a school record in career
blocks as Rose-Hulman lost to Otterbein University 63-43 in
their second game of the Smokey Ballenger Classic.
Marsh's four blocks in
the contest moved her career total to 166 to pass 2001
graduate Cari Hasselbring's career total of 164. Marsh
has averaged 3.1 blocks during the season and 2.7 during her
career.
Along with four
blocks, Marsh led the Engineers with her 18th
career double-double as she scored 15 points in the contest
while grabbing 10 rebounds.
Sophomore Alisa
Dickerson, (Elizabethtown, Ky.) contributed 13 points in
the effort.
Otterbein was led
by three players in double figures. They were led by
Natalie Conkle who picked up 12 points. Katie Stallard chipped in 11
points while Katy Miller contributed 10.
Rose-Hulman is now
1-10 overall. Rose-Hulman returns to action January
3rd and travel to Manchester College for a Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup.
