GREENCASTLE, IND. -- DePauw University
scored the lone goal of the match to snap Rose-Hulman's school record nine-game
winning streak and earn a 1-0 men's soccer win on a rainy Tuesday night.
Christopher Lee scored the lone goal in the
13th minute and the Tiger defensive effort held Rose-Hulman off the scoreboard
in heavy rain and cold conditions.
Sophomore Clint Vatterrodt (Bloomington,
Ill./University) led the Engineer offensive effort with two shots.
Junior Andy Kruth (Cedar Park, Texas/Vista Ridge) recorded a pair of
saves on the night for Rose-Hulman.
DePauw improved to 10-4-1, while Rose-Hulman
dropped to 11-5-1 on the campaign.
The Engineers close the regular season
against Mount St. Joseph on Saturday and have secured the top seed for next
week's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.
