BOX SCORE

TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology set a school record by winning its eighth straight men's soccer game as the Engineers defeated Franklin 2-1 Tuesday night.

Freshman Zane Englert (Waterloo, Ill) led the Engineers as he scored both goals in the game.

Englert's first goal was scored in the 28th minute off an assist from junior Corbin Clow (Martinsville, Ind) that hit off the right post before finding the net.

His second goal was unassisted as he knocked in the rebound off senior Rhys Evans (Lake Bluff, Ill/Lake Forest) shot that hit the crossbar in the 53rd minute.

Junior goalie Andy Kruth (Cedar Park, Texas/Vista Ridge) recorded his sixth win of the year with the victory.  He also recorded six saves in the contest.

Joel Fisher scored his goal in the 90th minute to make it the 2-1 difference.

The Fightin' Engineers return to action on Saturday afternoon as they face Bluffton in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest.
