TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology recorded its fifth straight shutout victory Saturday
as they defeated Manchester College 1-0.
The Engineers were in control for most of the
game as they outshot the Spartans 24-6.
Rose-Hulman was led by the goal of junior
Corbin Clow (Martinsville) for his fifth score of the season. Clow
scored off a cross from junior teammate Paul Bouagnon
(St. Charles, Ill/Burlington Central).
Junior goalkeeper Andy Kruth (Cedar Park,
Texas/Vista Ridge) picked up two saves on his way to his
fourth shutout of the season.
Rose-Hulman is now 7-4-1 on the season and 3-0 in
the HCAC. The Engineers return to action October 14 as they travel to
Anderson.
