COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology rifle team relied on a balanced effort to tally a team score of 4,334 points at the NCAA Rifle Sectional Qualifier at Ohio State University on Saturday.

Sophomore Lucas Weir led the Engineers with a score of 1,098 on 537 in smallbore and 561 in air rifle.  Senior Tommy Buetow and sophomore Derek Adler each tallied scores of 1,097 to provide depth.

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Western Intercollegiate Rifle Conference championships at Ohio State University next weekend.
