TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- A duo of Fightin' Engineers
earned Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Play of the Week
honors in women's cross country and men's soccer.
Senior Rachel Krasich (Westfield,
Ind./Westfield) was named HCAC Runner of the Week for
women's cross country after finishing fourth among Division III
runners at the Otterbein Invitational on her way to school
record time of 22:56 for the 6K course. Krasich's effort
led the Engineers to a 7th place finish in the 16 team event.
The Rose-Hulman cross country teams travel to
Richmond, Ind. to compete in the Earlham Invitational on
Saturday, September 29.
In men's soccer senior Matt Trowbridge (Fort
Collins, Colo./Poudre) earned his third HCAC Player of the
Week honor in five weeks after recording a hat trick in Rose-Hulman's
3-1 victory over Millikin.
Trowbridge leads the Heartland
Conference in goals scored with 12 and points with 26.

The Rose-Hulman men's soccer
team's next game will be Wednesday, September 26, when the
Engineers travel to Greencastle, Ind. to take on rival DePauw
University.
