CINCINNATI, OHIO -- The
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross country team
placed fourth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships
hosted by Mount St. Joseph on Saturday.
Junior Tyler Kreipke (Zionsville) led the
Engineer effort with all-conference honors and a sixth place finish.
Kreipke ran a time of 26:58 for eight kilometers in the effort.
Sophomore
Micah Aldrich (Indianapolis/Warren Central) and junior David Caldwell (Plymouth) claimed
spots on the honorable mention all-league squad. Aldrich placed 13th in a
time of 27:25, while Caldwell came home 15th in a time of 27:38.
Other contributors to Rose-Hulman's team score
included sophomore Josh Elkins (Brownsburg) with a 21st place finish in
28:22 and senior Justin Druba (Hanover/Southwestern) in 29th place in
28:50.
Rose-Hulman hosts the NCAA Division III Great
Lakes Regional at the LaVern Gibson Course on Saturday November 14.
