FRANKLIN, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed fourth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's cross country championships hosted by Franklin College on Saturday.

Freshman Kyle Beaty (Needham/Triton Central) led the Engineer effort with a 10th place finish to earn all-conference recognition.  Beaty ran an eight-kilometer time of 27:48 on a sloppy course in the second best time of his career.
