Men's Cross Country Team Finishes 3rd of 14 Teams in Millikin Invitational

Charles Williams placed 26th in a time of 27:26 to help boost the Engineers to a third-place finish.

DECATUR, ILL. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed third in the 14-team Millikin University Invitational on Friday afternoon.

Junior Matt Repking (Effingham, Ill./Teutopolis) came home 11th overall in a time of 26:36 to lead the effort.

Sophomore Stephen Boedicker (Delaware, Ohio) finished 22nd overall in a time of 27:13. Senior Charles Williams (Bloomington/North) came home third among Engineers and 26th overall with a time of 27:26.

 Freshman Kyle Beaty (Needham/Triton Central) added a 28th place in 27:32, while sophomore John Sullivan (Falls Church, Va./George Mason) rounded out the team score with a 30th place in 27:35.

The Engineers return to action at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships at Franklin College on Oct. 28.
