TERRE HAUTE, IND. --
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology junior Stephanie
Harrington (Houston, Texas/Cinco Ranch) recorded a
third-place finish to lead the Engineers in an opening day
duel match against Transylvania University at Hulman Links
Golf Course on Friday.
Harrington fired a
round of 89 to tie Sarah Slattery of the Pioneers for third
place. Transylvania earned the duel match win by a
score of 357-391.
Freshman Bailey
Wagner (South Bend/LaVille) placed seventh overall with
a score of 97. Junior Bethany Brisco (Alexandria)
finished ninth with a 102. Sophomore Allison Luther
(Beach Park, Ill./Zion-Benton) also placed in the top 10
with a score of 103.
Rose-Hulman returns to
action at the Anderson University Invitational on Sept. 6-7.
